Gala Field

The Ross High Rugby Field hosts our Gala Day and boast an array of entertainment for all the family.

We have new rides including waltzers, and a big wheel too.

We have entertainment in the field with Highland Dancers. On Our Saltire Stage we have musicians Dean Jones and Carly Smith performing as well as Centre Stage giving us a taste of their Summer Show which will be on in the Loch Centre during our Civic Week.(Check our Civic Week listings)

Gala Bags will be on sale in the field. This year our tea tent is being organised by The Tower Kitchen and there will be lots of things to buy there as well as food trucks around the park.

As Tranent Gala is all about bringing the family together there is a selection of free activities. These include Bairnz Disco, Face painting and Characters all at the Free Marquee beside the Tea Tent.

If you want to help out on the day, we are always looking for Gala Helpers to Stewart the field and support the Field Committee.  Email to put yourself forward.
